AI coding agent security

Let engineers use AI coding agents on real systems, with governed access.

Find the coding agents on your workstations, see what they do, decide the MCP calls they make on the laptop, and give them governed access to repositories and infrastructure through Vekri Gateway.

What happens

Applies to MCP servers configured through a Vekri profile. Built-in tools and servers configured directly are outside it, and inventory shows them as not mediated.

Scope

What it does not claim.

  • Hooks observe built-in tools; they do not block them. Blocking built-in tools is planned.
  • Claude Code is the verified client for hooks and the local MCP gateway; other clients are discovered, and their gateway configuration is in preview.
  • Windows is not supported yet.
